Galatea retells the myth of Pygmalion with emphasis on the experience of the statue brought to life. The piece is a single conversation with a single character, which can end any of a number of ways depending on the player’s decisions and interpretations. The character of Galatea has moods and remembers what has been said to her, making her one of the most complex single characters in interactive fiction when the piece was released in 2000.
