La Petite Brosse à Dépoussiérer la Fiction (2005-2011), Philippe Bootz

La Petite Brosse à Depoussiérer la Fiction (“the small brush to dust off fiction”) is an “uncomfortable reading fiction”. The reader must brush the dust that sticks on the tong in order to read the narrative. Uncomfortable reading in which the reader’s activity makes reading possible and hampers it into one. The program generates a thriller, but the generated narrative only tells what happens behind closed doors of the countess’s living room. Depending on the version of the work and on the digital device in which it is running, the work seems plastic, playable or illegible. Parody of thriller, parody of text generator, parody of work?
